MCU Student Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

We recognize that many of our students have questions regarding how the closing of Mid-Continent University will affect them, their course credits, and the ability to complete their degree program.

While we do not have all the answers you may seek, please know that we are working diligently to determine answers for all of your questions.

Please know that Mid-Continent University remains accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) and we continue to work directly with the Department of Education (DOE) and the Kentucky Council on Postsecondary Education through the closing of Mid-Continent University.  We are working closely with several universities to negotiate teach out agreements that will afford MCU students the best opportunities to complete their degrees.  When you contact the University please know that we are working as volunteers and are trying our best to help you in this time of need.
